Who Is Hannah Billingsley Mooney?
Hannah Billingsley was born and raised in Franklin, Arkansas, and has always had a heart for philanthropy and community service. She was crowned Miss Arkansas USA in 2013, a title that gave her the opportunity to advocate for various causes, including helping provide food and clean water for underprivileged communities.
Hannah has remained active in charity work, particularly with organizations that help children and families in need. Her passion for giving back has been a major part of her life even after stepping out of the pageant world.
How Did Shay and Hannah Meet?
The pair first connected through mutual friends in 2014 but didn’t meet in person until March 2015 when the country duo performed near the blonde beauty’s Arkansas hometown. The two enjoyed a whirlwind romance and became engaged in August 2016. A few months after their engagement, Shay and Hannah announced they were expecting their first child together.
“Growing up as we both did, in conservative small towns with traditional parents, we were terrified to confess our new status as parents-to-be,” she admitted about the surprise pregnancy via a blog interview. “However, despite the stress and the surprise of the situation, babies are blessings and we knew this child would be SO loved by all.”
Shay and Hannah are proud parents to three children:
- Asher James Mooney, born in January 2017
- Ames Alexander Mooney, born in February 2020
- Abram Shay Mooney, born in January 2023
The couple’s second second son, Ames Alexander Mooney, was born on Friday, February 21st in Nashville, Tennessee!
