American Idol champion Scotty McCreery plans to release his new album, Seasons Change, on March 16th. He released a new song from the album called “In Between” just recently. The autobiographical tune gives fans a look into his life as he has grown up, and his sneak-peek clips of the video are precious!

“This song is very autobiographical for me,” McCreery said about his new hit. “It’s also a song that a lot of people can relate to. So with ‘In Between,’ I hope it’s a song that can touch people. One of the lines that I love is ‘I ain’t all holy water and I ain’t all Jim Bean, I’m somewhere in between.’ I feel like that’s a lot of people out there. Hopefully folks will enjoy this song and get something out of it.”
Scotty McCreery last released new music about three years ago. Since then, fans have patiently waited for him to share more country hits. He revealed to Rare Country that he wrote “In Between” a few years back, and it is one of his favorite songs he wrote.

While many are excited about “In Between,” McCreery’s current single, “Five More Minutes,” is still climbing the charts! Right now, it sits in the top 10 on Billboard‘s Hot Country Songs chart.
“Yes, it’s been an amazing few weeks,” he told Rare Country. “I have always said that 2012 was one of my favorite years I have ever lived — I mean, I was playing basketball and dating Gabi and such, but 2018 ain’t looking so bad either.”
He shared a clip of the music video for “In Between” via Instagram.
Adding to his musical success expected for this year, he will be marrying his longtime girlfriend, Gabi Dugal. The wedding planning is already well under way!
“We have most of the big things done,” McCreery said. “We are sending the ‘Save the Dates’ out, and we need to pick out our wedding cake, but we are doing pretty good. Right now we are inviting about 230 people, so yep, it’s going to be a good size wedding. I’ve never been one for organization. I went to Target last week and bought a planner, and now I have it where all my stuff is in red, Gabi’s stuff in blue and everything else in black.”
2018 is just starting, but it sounds like he is already having an amazing year. We look forward to more music from Scotty!
