After 6 years of dating, country music artist Scotty McCreery proposed to Gabi Dugal in their home state of North Carolina back in November.
The star could not be happier about marrying the love of his life, “I’ve been planning this moment for so long that it feels surreal for it to have finally happened.” Adding, “Gabi is the perfect girl and my true love, and I cannot wait to begin building our life together as husband and wife.”

“Hello 2018!!” writes Dugal on Instagram. “A year of many new adventures and I can’t wait to get started!” One of the biggest adventures, of course, will be the wedding. With photos this beautiful, the wedding is sure to knock our socks off.
Also underway in 2018 is McCreery’s new album, Seasons Change, set to release on March 16th. The artist shares that his fiancé is the inspiration behind several of the new tracks. He wanted the album to express the beauty and hardship that come with change.
“In the last five years, I have grown from a teenager to a man, moved out on my own, lost my grandfather, proposed to the love of my life, and learned more about myself than I could have imagined,” shared McCreery. “This all shows up in the 11 songs on ‘Seasons Change’, and I cannot wait to share this music with my fans after such a long time between releases.”
