Back when Miranda Lambert was just a sophomore at Lindale High School, she petitioned to start a choir and 65 kids signed up! During the country music superstar’s Wild Card Tour stop last month in Dallas, Texas, she invited the Lindale High School Choir up to sing “Tin Man” with her onstage. Watch the story unfold below!
In addition to helping start her high school choir, Lambert also made her professional singing debut with The Texas Pride Band, fronted the house band at the Reo Palm Isle in Longview, Texas, and participated in the Johnnie High Country Music Revue. Following high school, 19-year-old Lambert finished in third place on USA Network’s Nashville Star and then signed with Epic Records. In 2004, she released her debut Kerosene album. The rest is country music history!
