Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman's family has grown again! Meet the superstar couple's newest furry companion and first-ever family dog here...
Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman‘s family recently welcomed an adorable new puppy into their household!
“My first puppy… actually my first dog. Been waiting my whole life for this!” Nicole shared on Instagram July 10th along with a snapshot.
“We got a dog! Her [Nicole Kidman’s] first-ever dog, EVER! I’ve had dogs all my life, but never anything this small,” Keith shared with CMT‘s Cody Alan backstage during Faster Horses Festival. “It wasn’t my idea of a dog at first, you know? I’ve always had dogs that you can go out in the yard and wrestle with and have fun with, and Nic called me and said, “I found our dog… he’s a toy poodle! And, I was like NOOOOOOOO!”
The star also shared the pup’s name— “Julian.”
How cute! We’re sure 11-year-old Sunday Rose and 8-year-old Faith Margaret are quite pleased with their new furry sibling. No word on what cats Snow and Ginger think…
Besides the new pup and two cats, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman’s family includes alpacas, chickens, and fish. A herd of Black Angus cattle also call their Australian farm ‘home.’ That’s a lot of animals!

“We Were” Lyrics
We were just a couple years short of the age
By my name on a fake ID
And still ’bout a hundred away from the day
Your daddy said you could run with me
We were a couple of line steppers
Who just couldn’t wait to step over the line
Never thinkin’ we wouldn’t last
I was your first and you were mine
And we were leather jackets hangin’ onto a Harley
Two heartbeats in the moonlight
(We were) both feet hangin’ out over the edge
Of a water tower skyline
At least there’s a little bit of sweet in the bitter
Though a part of me is always gonna miss her
I am who I am, I just miss who I was when we were
Mm-mm
We were gonna make it, weren’t we, baby?
Had it all laid out in our mind
By the time we knew time was runnin’ out
We done run out of time
And we were downtown Saturday night
Last-call cover band
‘Til the last song played, never thought we’d fade
Like the stamp on the back of her hand
We were her on my shoulders, lighter in the air
“Pour Some Sugar On Me”
We were top down at Johnson’s field
When she whispered that she wants me
At least there’s a little bit of sweet in the bitter
Though a part of me is always gonna miss her
I am who I am, I just miss who I was when we were
Mm-mm
And we were leather jackets hangin’ onto a Harley
Two heartbeats in the moonlight
(We were) both feet hangin’ out over the edge
Of a water tower skyline
At least there’s a little bit of sweet in the bitter
Though a part of me is always gonna miss her
I am who I am, I just miss who I was when we were
Mm, yes I do
Friends say, “Oh well, let that ship sail”
“You gotta let go of her”
“Just wasn’t meant to be”
But somewhere down deep I still believe
That we were
