Country music star Justin Moore's kids figured out his little white lie and now have two kittens! More on the family here!

Country music star Justin Moore‘s kids aren’t easily fooled! The Arkansas native claimed that he was allergic to cats in order to avoid welcoming some feline friends into the household. Well, his daughter Kennedy wasn’t buying it.

“He said he’s allergic to cats but he’s just lying to us,” she hilariously revealed according to the artist.

“It worked for years until they debunked that theory,” Moore admitted during an interview with PEOPLE. Once the truth came out, Justin Moore’s kids convinced their parents to add some cats to the family. In June, Justin and Kate surprised Kennedy with two kittens as a reward for working hard in school and practicing softball.

“If you put in work, you get results.. Or “a cat” 😅 Ken was struggling with math and spelling so I told her that we’d get her a cat if she worked harder on school. Then, she wanted to play softball, so I told her she had to put in a lot of time practicing or she wasn’t gonna play… She worked hard at all of the above so here we are 🤘🏼 And, side note, the makeup is bc she’s going to a dance recital 😅 “Princess Pony or Chippy” 😂,” Justin shared via Instagram.
