Country music superstar George Strait's San Antonio estate is jaw-dropping and worth a look! Enjoy a video tour of the place right here!

Every king has his castle! ‘King of Country Music’ George Strait and wife Norma Strait placed their breathtaking San Antonio estate on the market in 2018. The 7,925-square-foot custom adobe mansion is perched on a hilltop and sits on 12.2 acres of land. The secluded property’s listing agent is the country icon’s daughter-in-law, Tamara Strait, who is married to George Strait Jr. aka “Bubba.” After some price adjustments, George Strait’s San Antonio estate can now be yours for $8,900,000!

The impressive spread is located in the desirable community of The Dominion and was designed by the internationally renowned artist Bill Tull of Arizona. The main house boasts three bedrooms, four full baths, and two half baths. The property also has a guest house, an infinity pool-spa, sauna, and more luxurious touches such as fourteen hand-sculpted fireplaces, custom stained glass windows, and saguaro cactus rib shutters. Not surprisingly, this estate took two full years to construct.

Check out a series of photos provided by Tamara and her personal reflections about the former Strait family home below!

10 𝘿𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙇𝙖𝙣𝙚 |𝙊𝙪𝙩𝙙𝙤𝙤𝙧 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤 The outdoor patio probably is one of my favorites spaces. I have a lot of memories out there. Before marriage and kids, Bubba and I ate more dinners out there with his parents than we did inside the house. The breeze out there is perfection. And the lazy susan on the table was perfect for sharing the food. I learned to drink wine out there. 😂 Also, George came home with this blue and kind of big tricycle for Harvey one time and I remember driving the bike around while boosting Harvey on the back of the bike. Another reminder of my sweet boy growing too fast! 😢 You can see the Tower of America’s from there and watch the fireworks at Fiesta Texas. Honestly, the best memories back there were just the simple family time we had while sitting around and talking. Maybe even picking on each other some. Unfortunately, Jilli never knew this house …. // #straitluxury #memories #georgestraitshouse #georgestrait #sanantoniorealestate #realtor #boerne #luxury #luxuryrealestate #luxuryhomes #luxurylifestyle #celebrityhomes #sothebysrealty

10 𝘿𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙇𝙖𝙣𝙚 | 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙍𝙤𝙤𝙢 This is the large living room with high ceilings and an amazing fireplace. That hand-sculpted fireplace, which is one of fourteen of them is almost as tall as I am (I’m 5’1”😂) and really is a built-in piece of art in that room. There is an amazing view to the backyard from this room. But, there aren’t very many memories inside this room because it rarely got used. You had to walk by this room to get to the TV Room that was the most used. This great room though, is where Norma usually had our Valentines or Easter presents. We would sit in there and open our gifts. She always (and still does) gives us red/pink pajama pants or something like that for Valentines Day. And a card. Now that we have kids, the tradition continues! The only other memory I can recall is the pillow that had a sharp decoration on it would always poke me when I sat on that couch. Funny how you remember silly stuff like that. Probably because I sat on that pillow every time. 😂 // #straitluxury #memories #georgestrait #georgestraitshouse #sothebys #memorylane #forsale #luxurylifestyle #luxury #luxuryhomes #luxuryrealestate #boerne #boernerealtor #sanantonio #texas #texasrealestate #tamarastrait

10 𝘿𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙇𝙖𝙣𝙚 | 𝘽𝙪𝙗𝙗𝙖'𝙨 𝘽𝙚𝙙𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢 I did not personally know Bubba when he lived in this bedroom. (We’ve been together almost 15 years!) BUT! It still looked like he lived there because his Mom kept everything the same. So, it was always fun to see his old lava lamp, photos, and other high school memorabilia. I would sometimes wonder if we would have hung out together if we had known each other in high school. Probably not because we are 4 years apart. 😂 Another favorite memory about this room was that after we had Harvey, this room became his! If Norma kept Harvey overnight, they slept together in this room. All of his toys were in this room. Over time, Bubba’s stuff was disappearing and Harvey’s stuff was taking over. It is pretty special that George Jr and George III shared the same bedroom. Geez….this has me getting all emotional and missing Harvey when he was that little and honestly, missing this house. This house has some really great memories in it. The next owner will sure be getting something special. // #straitluxury #georgestrait #memoriesinsidehishouse #memories #sothebys #luxury #luxuryhomes #luxurylifestyle #boerne #sanantonio #texas #sanantoniorealestate #boernerealtor #sothebys #customhome #dreamhome #tamarastrait

10 𝘿𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙇𝙖𝙣𝙚 | 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙏𝙑 𝙍𝙤𝙤𝙢 This room really is the heart of the home. Well, at least for us it was. This room was used the most. There were some really great naps that were had in this room. (Especially by George 😉) But also by all of us. But, my favorite memory would have to be all sitting in there watching episodes of Dancing with the Stars. Back when Emmitt Smith was dancing. Yes, we voted for him numerous times! The sound system in this room is amazing and really is cozy for family time. Another great memory is having to share the recliner with Rip, Bubba’s English Bulldog who definitely did not fit in the recliner with anyone. But we let him anyway. // #straitluxury #memories #10davenport #sothebys #georgestrait #luxuryhomes #luxury #luxurylifestyle #luxurylistings #sanantonio #sanantoniorealestate #texas #realtor #boerne #tamarastrait #dancingwiththestars #emmittsmith

Have you caught your breath yet? This place is a work of art.

We’re sure this piece of paradise will be goin’ goin’ gone sometime soon…

“Goin’ Goin’ Gone” Lyrics

I put in my forty and they take out way too much
The same old story, same old brown bag, homemade lunch
Might not be the big dream but I guess I can’t complain
It pays the rent but that’s about all that it pays
It’s been too long
Hey, I’m goin’, I’m goin’
I’m overdue so throw it on the card
Bartender, keep it open, I’m just getting started
Come Monday morning, I just might be overdrawn
But it’s Friday night, so, I’m goin’, goin’ gone
Ain’t got no 401, ain’t got no benefits
They don’t hand out stock options, not down here in the pits
But I’ve got old glory hanging by my front porch light
Might not be the perfect world but then again, it might
All I know is
It’s been too long
Hey, I’m goin’, I’m goin’
I’m overdue so throw it on the card
Bartender, keep it open, I’m just getting started
Come Monday morning, I just might be overdrawn
But it’s Friday night, so, I’m goin’, goin’ gone
It’s been too long
So, I’m goin’, hey, I’m goin’
I’m overdue so throw it on the card
Bartender, leave it open, I’m just getting started
Come Monday morning, I just might be overdrawn
But it’s Friday night, so, I’m goin’, goin’ gone
Whoo
