Randy Owen's health issues have temporarily derailed Alabama's 50th anniversary tour. More from the iconic country music band, here!

Randy Owen’s health issues have caused Alabama to push back their current 50th anniversary tour. Teddy Gentry shared the following statement via press release:

“The ’50th Anniversary Tour’ has been very special to us. The support of the fans and their energy at all of our shows has led to some of the most fun we’ve ever had onstage. As disappointed as myself, Randy, and Jeff are to have to postpone this tour for all of our incredible fans, we know that Randy’s recovery is what is most important for everyone at this time. We would like to thank our fans, promoters, and venues and we look forward to seeing you all soon.”

Rescheduled tour dates are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. Randy Owen’s health issues stem from ongoing migraines and vertigo.

“Dixieland Delight” Lyrics

Rollin’ down a backwoods, Tennessee byway, one arm on the wheel
Holdin’ my lover with the other, a sweet, soft, southern thrill
Worked hard all week, got a little jingle, on a Tennessee Saturday night
Couldn’t feel better, I’m together with my Dixieland delight
Spend my dollar, parked in a holler ‘neath the mountain moonlight
Hold her uptight, make a little lovin’
A little turtle dovin’ on a Mason Dixon night
Fits my life, oh so right, my Dixieland delight
Whitetail buck deer, munchin’ on clover, redtail hawk settin’ on a limb
Chubby old groundhog, croakin’ bullfrog, free as the feelin’ in the wind
Home grown country girl, gonna give me a whirl
On a Tennessee Saturday night
Lucky as a seven, livin’ in Heaven, with my Dixieland delight
Spend my dollar, parked in a holler ‘neath the mountain moonlight
Hold her uptight, make a little lovin’
A little turtle dovin’ on a Mason Dixon night
Fits my life, oh so right, my Dixieland delight
Spend my dollar, parked in a holler ‘neath the mountain moonlight
Hold her uptight, make a little lovin’
A little turtle dovin’ on a Mason Dixon night
Fits my life, oh so right, my Dixieland delight
Rollin’ down a backwoods, Tennessee byway, one arm on the wheel
Holdin’ my lover with the other, a sweet, soft, southern thrill
