For 35 years running, WE Fest has been a leading country music festival in the United States. In 2017, the music festival will again be held in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota from August 3rd through August 5th.
The Soo Pass Ranch hosts the festival and touts a natural amphitheater which has become a fully-developed concert venue complete with a permanent stage and sound towers. The ranch also features full bathrooms and concession stands to accompany the concert site. Campgrounds are also set up in the wooded area around the venue for easy walking access to and from the festival. The Country Music Association has even nominated WE Fest twice for its ‘Best Special Event’ award.
The two headliners for 2017’s event will be Luke Bryan and Zac Brown Band, who were both recently announced as nominees for the 2016 American Music Awards. Luke Bryan was nominated for ‘Favorite Male Artist’ in Country Music and Zac Brown Band was nominated for ‘Favorite Group’ in Country Music. You won’t want to miss these artists at WE Fest in 2017! Past lineups have included many other renowned artists including Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Eric Church, and Jake Owen!
Aside from the music, there are also contests and tournaments held at WE Fest— from Baggo Tournaments to Karaoke Roundups. Contestants have the possibility of winning VIP admission, tickets, and campsite spots.
