Country music stars Tim McGraw and Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard have joined forces on the new song, “Undivided.” The track serves as a call for self-reflection and unity during these tumultuous times.

Soul-searching on his bus while waiting out a positive COVID-19 quarantine, Hubbard was inspired to write “Undivided.” The artist considered the values he was raised with and the divisiveness everywhere he turned. But rather than maintain a somber tone, he focused on the positive with a feel-good message of hope and optimism. As he recruited McGraw for a song about coming together, that’s exactly what they did. Watch the music video below!

“Undivided” Lyrics

You see Billy got picked on in school
For things, he couldn’t change
He tried his best to play it cool
But in the seventh grade, you either fit right in or you don’t fit
That’s just the cold hard truth
I wish that I’d have been the friend that Billy never knew

I think it’s time to come together, you and I can make a change
Maybe we can make a difference, make the world a better place
Look around and love somebody, we’ve been hateful long enough
Let the good Lord reunite us ’til this country that we love’s undivided

Yup, you either go to church or you’re gonna go to Hell
Get a job and work or you’re gonna go to jail
I just kinda wish we didn’t think like that
Why’s it gotta be all white or all black?

And when we gonna learn to try on someone’s shoes sometimes? (That’s right)
When we gonna start to see from someone else’s eyes?

I think it’s time to come together, you and I can make a change
Maybe we can make a difference, make the world a better place
Look around and love somebody, we’ve been hateful long enough
Let the good Lord reunite us ’til this country that we love’s undivided

Oh yeah
Undivided
Oh yeah

And we’re all the same to God, no matter what we get His love
I’m tired of looking left or right, so I’m just looking up

I think it’s time to come together, you and I can make a change
Maybe we can make a difference, make the world a better place
Look around and love somebody, we’ve been hateful long enough (Hateful long enough)
Let the good Lord reunite us ’til this country that we love’s undivided

C’mon
Oh yeah
Undivided
Oh yeah

You either go to church or you’re gonna go to hell (Oh yeah)
Get a job and work or you’re gonna go to jail (Undivided)
I just kinda wish we didn’t think like that (Yeah baby)
Why’s it gotta be all white or all black?
