Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard Talks Daughter’s Birth

Florida Georgia Line member Tyler Hubbard and wife Hayley welcomed their daughter, Olivia Rose, into the world on December 23rd at 4:56PM in Nashville. The little one  weighed in at a healthy 7 lbs. 13 oz. and measured 19¼ inches long.

“I think it’s something that God doesn’t let men do for a reason — I don’t know if we could get through it,” Tyler candidly shared with PEOPLE about his wife’s birthing process. “It’s a beautiful thing, and Hayley was really strong and calm and relaxed. I couldn’t have been more proud of her the whole time.”

While Tyler was excepted from pregnancy, labor, and delivery, he’s making himself useful as a supportive partner.

“He’s been my helping hand and supportive — everything and more than I ever expected him to do. He’s been wonderful,” Hayley shared with the outlet.

“It was a pretty wild rush of emotions and I think Hayley felt the same way,” Tyler shared about their first child’s arrival. “Right when she was born, they put her on Hayley’s chest and wiped her off a little bit and we spent a little time with her. It was definitely a magical moment, and a moment that we’d been waiting for, for a long time.”

I had no idea I could love somebody as much as I love @hayley_hubbard but last night God gave us Olivia Rose 🌹 and melted our hearts. We love this little girl more than words can describe and it hasn’t even been 24 hours yet. Our life has been forever been changed for the better. The new family of three were able to return home from the hospital on Christmas Day and are settling into their new normal. According to the couple, ‘big brother’ Harley the golden retriever loves the family’s new addition.

Looks like their 2017 ended on a cozy note and we hope 2018 is great for this little family!
