Shania Twain’s home in the Bahamas has one acre of pristine white sand beach and has amazing views of the emerald green and turquoise water.  Canadian country music superstar Shania Twain has been in the music industry since the early 1990s. Shania’s home is a half-hour drive from the capital, Nassau on the Island of New Providence in the Bahamas.

Her home is in The Old Fort Bay gated community that is an extraordinary waterfront development in the Bahamas nestled along the northern shore of New Providence Island just east of Lyford Cay. The neighborhood is anchored by the historic Old Fort (which dates back to the late 1700s) and has been lovingly restored as the center of community life, Old Fort Bay combines Old Bahamian island living with the latest in community planning and design with a beach club, marina, canal systems and parks.

Shania’s home in the Bahamas was listed for sale in 2019 and currently appears to be pulled from the market.  The superstar put her 7,000 square foot villa in the exclusive Old Fort Bay development on the market for most of 2019.  The property boasts six bedrooms, six bathrooms, a media room and a freshwater pool. The official asking price was $10.95 million.  The house was built in 2004 and the property is surrounded by stunning panoramic views of the beach and sea, visible from all of the five bedrooms.

The home features high ceilings, plenty of windows and white washed walls with a coastal theme featuring shades of aqua and sea blue, teamed with reclaimed wood furniture pieces.  The formal indoor dining room opens directly out onto the terrace dining area.  The master suite features its own private balcony over looking the pool and sea beyond.  There are panoramic ocean views from the 2nd-floor master suite, which has a corner bathroom and a spacious private balcony.

The beachside property offers exquisite ocean views from the immaculately kept gardens. The pool and plunge-pool are framed by a number of classic poolside seats – from loungers to classic Adirondack chairs.

The sale of the home also includes a dock across the street that can accommodate a 60 foot boat.  This beachfront home is a short beach walk away from the Old Fort Bay Club that offers dining under the stars or lunch on the beach. This estate was listed in 2019 with George Damianos of Old Fort Bay Sotheby’s International Realty.

The songstress has been happily married to husband Frédéric Thiébaud since 2011. The star released her fifth studio album and wrapped up her 2018 Shania Now Tour. In June of 2019 the country music star announced that she would be doing a 23-show residency in Las Vegas at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood. The residency kicked off December 6th, 2019 and is set to reboot in 2020 after the Covid crisis has ended.
