Award-winning actress Nicole Kidman doesn’t shy away when it comes to sharing her deep love for her husband of nearly twelve years, country music star Keith Urban. Earlier this week, the pair attended the TIME 100 gala in New York City together. Nicole was named as one of TIME’s ‘100 Most Influential People.’ Check out her glamorous cover shot!
“Honestly, in the last year, I had the chance to work with four great directors. And as much as I would love to say, ‘Oh yeah, I did something different,’ I didn’t,” Nicole told Entertainment Tonight on the event’s red carpet. “I love what I do, I’ve always loved what I do. I just got very, very fortunate in the sense that four really, really talented directors — Jean Marc Vallee, Jane Campion, Yorgos Lanthimos and Sofia Coppola — all decided to work with me. That’s kind of amazing. And I would love to say it was me, but I don’t believe it is.”
Keith also chimed in to praise his talented wife and her success.
“I’m so proud of her. And it’s so right too, she’s got such a beautiful heart, and a collaborative spirit,” Urban said. “She’s talking about these directors, but her collaborative spirit is so strong, that it’s only right that these things have happened in a collaboration.”
“Great night last night, loved sharing it with my love. Thank you #time100,” Kidman captioned an Instagram post featuring a picture of herself and Urban cuddling during a car ride.
It’s wonderful to see Nicole and Keith actively support each other and be present as a couple at industry events spanning both their worlds. On April 15th, Nicole attended the 2018 ACM Awards and was able to witness Keith winning the Vocal Event of the Year honor for his “The Fighter” collaboration with Carrie Underwood. Urban was also nominated for Entertainer of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year, and his track “Female” also received a Song of the Year nomination.
