HGTV stars Amie and Joile Sikes aka the “Junk Gypsies” got another opportunity to give country music superstar Miranda Lambert’s 1952 Airstream trailer called “Wanda the Wanderer” a makeover earlier this year! Back in 2010, the pair gave the trailer a funky ‘Cosmic Cowgirl’ overhaul. After eight years and many miles, the ol’ gal was in dire need of some TLC.

Goodness. Wanda was looking rough or as Lambert said, “ridden hard and put away wet.”
Fortunately, the Junk Gypsies were more than prepared to take on the task and bring the trailer back to life.
“We just knew we couldn’t have too much fringe in this Airstream,” the HGTV stars proclaimed as they highlighted the changes they made to the trailer’s interior.

The Texan especially love the snakeskin booth and table where she and her crew play cards. Oh and the well-stocked bar that fits over the trailer’s wheel well was also a very nice touch. What a big difference! Needless to say, Lambert was floored by the changes and totally loved every detail the designers put into it! (Yes, she was wearing a blouse with plenty of fringe while giving her feedback.)
Miranda’s home away from home will be getting plenty of use as the star always seems to be ready to head out on a new tour! Maybe the other Pistol Annies members, Angaleena Presley and Ashley Monroe, can hitch a ride? The group’s third studio album, Interstate Gospel, drops on November 2nd!
