Country music superstar Luke Bryan has tested positive for COVID-19.
“I’m sad to say I won’t be a part of tonight’s first live American Idol show. I tested positive for COVID but I’m doing well and look forward to being back at it soon,” 44-year-old Bryan shared today via Facebook.
American Idol is about to announce its Top 12 Season 19 contestants. While Katy Perry and Lionel Richie can easily cover for the star on Idol, this news likely means Luke won’t be able to perform during Sunday night’s 2021 ACM Awards.
