Country music entertainer Kenny Chesney has a milestone birthday to celebrate--- number 50! More on the popular artist and his career here.

Country music superstar Kenny Chesney made his debut into the world 50 years ago on March 26, 1968 in Knoxville, Tennessee. The future artist was raised by parents David Chesney and Karen Chandler in nearby Luttrell. After graduating from East Tennessee State University in 1990, he relocated to Nashville and kicked off his music career by cutting his teeth at local honky tonks.

Fast forward to present day and Chesney is a household name! The hit-maker has recorded 20 albums, produced 29 number one singles on the charts, and has sold over 30 million albums worldwide. So far, the Tennessee native has earned six ACM awards (including four consecutive ‘Entertainer of the Year’ awards, 2005-2008), as well as six CMA awards.
