Ever since Jon Pardi released his sophomore album, California Sunrise, the country singer has enjoyed a successful couple of years. Becoming one of country music’s rising stars helped Pardi land gigs on a few of the industry’s biggest star’s tours, such as Tim McGraw, George Strait, and Alan Jackson. These accomplishments are now ticked off on his bucket list.
“Tim McGraw and I worked out together, which was fun. I got to have a beer with Alan Jackson, and talked to George Strait a couple of times,” Pardi revealed to Sounds Like Nashville. “Those are some of my heroes. I’ve gotten to do a lot of cool stuff with people I’ve been listening to since I was a kid which is definitely a cool feeling.”
Another big-name artist Jon Pardi has the honor to tour alongside is Luke Bryan. This year, Jon Pardi will serve as an opening act for the “Country Girl” singer on his What Makes You Country Tour. Of course Pardi could not be more thrilled about touring the country with one of his biggest mentors, and he expects to bond with Bryan throughout the trip.
“Luke likes to do a lot of stuff. I think one day I want him to teach me how to fly fish. ‘Cause I know he loves fly fishing and I know that’s something I’ve always wanted to learn, and I think we’ll actually have a time out there,” Pardi added. Don’t worry, we will keep you updated on if the California native’s fly fishing dream comes true.

We can’t wait to watch these two perform under the bright lights together this summer! Bryan and Pardi begin playing shows together on May 31st in Toronto, Canada.
