Lady Antebellum‘s Hillary Scott just announced the gender of her twin babies due in February— they are both girls! The singer-songwriter and husband Chris Tyrrell also have a 4-year-old daughter named Eisele.
“Eisele is so excited to have her very own living baby dolls,” Scott shared via Instagram along with a snapshot of three matching pink tutus and pairs of purple shoes. “Chris and I are beyond grateful that we get to raise a household of little ladies, and can’t wait to watch and help them grow into kind, independent, and confident women!”
In the fall of 2015, Hillary suffered a devastating miscarriage which inspired the track “Thy Will” off of Hillary Scott & the Scott Family’s award-winning gospel album, Love Remains.
When the songstress shared her exciting pregnancy news, she also shared a very poignant message to those struggling to have children. “We are having TWINS! It’s truly a miracle. Because we’ve been so open about our last pregnancy loss and journey, I want to be fully transparent with you that this happened naturally. Chris nor I have any family history of twins that we can find and are just resting in the profound gift this truly is. My heart still grieves for our loss and all who are struggling with pregnancy and infant loss and infertility. God hears every prayer and I will continue to share our story to point to the Source of all life, peace and comfort in the best and most difficult of times. Don’t lose hope!”
The Tyrrell family isn’t the only Lady Antebellum family that is growing, Dave Haywood and his wife Kelli Cashiola are expecting a baby girl! The little one will be joining 3-year-old big brother Cash Van Haywood in December.
Lady Antebellum’s offspring will soon be outnumbering the group’s members and we couldn’t be any happier for this trio and their spouses! The band is currently preparing to take a leap across the pond for more tour dates. Check out their remaining tour schedule below!
