Hillary Scott Enjoys Baby Shower Ahead of Twins’ Arrival [Pictures]

Lady Antebellum‘s Hillary Scott and husband Chris Tyrrell are preparing to welcome twin baby girls into the family this February. The pair are also proud parents of four-year-old Eisele Kaye. How adorable is this future big sister…

So tonight Eisele wanted to play "dress up like a princess". She was Elsa, and I somehow zipped up my Grammy dress and threw on my lowest heels in my closet with a crown…we curtsied, we giggled, and this is one of the million reasons why I love being her Mommy. 😍

On Thursday, Hillary along with her girlfriends and close family members enjoyed a lovely baby shower. Among the guests were Kelsea Ballerini, Dave Haywood‘s pregnant wife Kelli (she’s due with a baby girl this month), and Charles Kelley‘s wife Cassie. Of course Hillary’s mother, Linda Davis, was also in attendance!

“Today was the most precious and perfect celebration for our little girls,” the singer captioned the photo gallery she shared via Instagram.

Today was the most precious and perfect celebration for our little girls. One of my favorite parts about today was that a table full of amazing women(a few not pictured 😫, and a few unable to attend who we missed tremendously!!) had great fellowship, laughs, and lifted each other up…all while celebrating these two babies who I pray grow up to first be who God has created them to be, but also a melting pot of all of the hearts in this room who love them so much already. My heart is overflowing with gratitude to the hostesses @darlintennessee @jocd_like_ocd @goinbackto & @lindsay.doyle 💕💕💕 Love y’all so much and thanks to @husknashville for making our bellies REALLY happy!! ❤️

Hillary is glowing and we couldn’t be any happier for her and her hubby! In the fall of 2015, Hillary suffered a devastating miscarriage which inspired the track “Thy Will” off of Hillary Scott & the Scott Family’s award-winning gospel album, Love Remains.

“God has answered our family’s countless prayers! Our family is growing…Chris, Eisele, and I wanted to share our DOUBLE portion of joy with you all! We appreciate all the love and prayers in the coming weeks as we wait (somewhat patiently if you’re Chris and I, and impatiently if you’re Eisele 😂) for these precious BABIES to arrive. Yep, babies! We are having TWINS! It’s truly a miracle. Because we’ve been so open about our last pregnancy loss and journey, I want to be fully transparent with you that this happened naturally. Chris nor I have any family history of twins that we can find and are just resting in the profound gift this truly is. My heart still grieves for our loss and all who are struggling with pregnancy and infant loss and infertility. God hears every prayer and I will continue to share our story to point to the Source of all life, peace and comfort in the best and most difficult of times. Don’t lose hope!
