Country music superstar Garth Brooks' 2019 music releases will include vinyl editions. More on the singer-songwriter's plans here!

Garth Brooks Vinyl format is on the uptake as Garth makes more announcements for this format.  The wait for a new Garth Brooks album is almost over! “Get ready for vinyl” cautioned the star back on December 17th during his Inside Studio G Facebook series.  Brooks is absolutely stoked to release more music on vinyl as his first three albums (1989 self-titled debut, 1990’s No Fences, and 1991’s Ropin’ The Wind) have been the only album’s available on to purchase on vinyl.   Though Garth didn’t reveal the specifics about which albums will be available on vinyl, he made clear that “it’s coming in a way I’ve never seen before. It’s so friggin’ cool. It’s going to be a lot of fun.” If Garth Brooks says it’s cool then that’s all the affirmation fans will need!

Garth provided this recent update on Vinyl via Facebook video.

The “Friends In Low Places” singer continued to say “But get ready for it in a lot of different ways, like you’ve never seen before. Remember, we were lucky enough to record in analog and we’re lucky enough to be in the digital world, as well. So, this will be something like nobody else has . . . which you guys should have.”

Garth Brooks’ forthcoming ‘The Legacy Collection’ is already a sales success.  The country music legend has already sold some 35,000 units of his vinyl box set that features five of Brooks’ albums and ships on November 1, 2019.  Fans had their first chances to purchase the box set on February 28th and March 14th.  Check out the latest news and release window at the Garth Brooks Vinyl Website.

“The Thunder Rolls” Lyrics

Three thirty in the morning
Not a soul in sight
The city’s looking like a ghost town
On a moonless summer night
Raindrops on the windshield
There’s a storm moving in
He’s heading back from somewhere
That he never should have been
And the thunder rolls
And the thunder rolls
Every light is burning
In a house across town
She’s pacing by the telephone
In her faded flannel gown
Asking for a miracle
Hoping she’s not right
Praying it’s the weather
That’s kept him out all night
And the thunder rolls
And the thunder rolls
The thunder rolls (the thunder rolls)
And the lightning strikes
Another love grows cold
On a sleepless night (on a sleepless night)
As the storm blows on out of control
Deep in her heart
As the thunder rolls
She’s waiting by the window
When he pulls into the drive
She rushes out to hold him
Thankful he’s alive
But on the wind and rain
A strange new perfume blows
And the lightning flashes in her eyes
And he knows that she knows
And the thunder rolls
And the thunder rolls
And the thunder rolls
The thunder rolls (the thunder rolls)
And the lightning strikes
Another love grows cold
On a sleepless night
As the storm blows on
Out of control
Deep in her heart
As the thunder rolls (deep in her heart)
Deep in her heart
The thunder rolls
The thunder rolls
The thunder rolls on
And the thunder rolls
