Country music duo Florida Georgia Line recently got a very special opportunity to present a life-changing mobility device to U.S. Army Veteran Travis Strong.

“Being able to give back to a true hero like double-amputee U.S. Army Veteran, Travis Strong, is such a humbling experience,” FGL shared via social media. “We love you brother. And thank you to our friends at the The Independence Fund for allowing us to be part of such a special moment as we presented Travis with his new all terrain wheelchair. Grateful to everyone who puts on a uniform to serve.”

According to The Independence Fund’s official website, the organization “is committed to empowering our nation’s severely wounded, injured, or ill Veterans to overcome physical, mental, and emotional wounds incurred in the line of duty. We are dedicated to improving the lives of both our Veterans and their families. Through our Mobility, Caregiver, Adaptive Sports, Advocacy, and Family programs, The Independence Fund strives to bridge the gap of unmet needs for Veterans and their Caregivers.”

How wonderful is this?! FGL stars Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley are both very generous people and it’s great to see them using their celebrity to improve the lives of others in very real ways.

Kelley has been especially active lately and hand-delivered toys, clothing items, and sneakers to Port St. Joe Elementary School in early November after a parent informed him that the the school was running low on items to help out children in need. The area had been hit hard by Hurricane Michael on October 10th.

By the way, Florida Georgia Line’s fourth studio album, Can’t Say I Ain’t Country, is expected to be released on February 15th.

“We’re excited. In February, we’re releasing our fourth album,” Hubbard shared with Entertainment Tonight. “I think Feb. 15 is the official date, so we’re really excited. We’ve been working on that album for over a year now, so BK and I are definitely ready.”

“And we’re gonna kick off our big headline tour [of the same name], I think, in May,” the star added. “We’re also doing some shows in Australia in March, so we got a pretty exciting year coming up. We’re excited to just kinda bring this new energy to our fans.”
