Country music duo Florida Georgia Line reveals a tender side with their new single, “Simple.” It mixes Western folk sounds with the energy of electro-pop, and it’s heartbeat rhythm makes it a sing-along love anthem. The song will also lead Florida Georgia Line’s upcoming fourth album!
Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley are excited to share this next chapter with fans as they search for easy love with “Simple.” Along with keeping love simple, they also keep the song structure simple. It took just four chords to put the song together!

Simple Lyric Video
Hubbard and Kelley wrote the track alongside Michael Hardy and Mark Holman. They brought feelings of comfort in the lyrics about finding a soulmate, and incorporated whistling and banjo playing in the new single.
“We are always wanting to push our sound forward and never make the same record twice,” Hubbard said in a statment. “We feel like we’ve upped our game on this project as well.”
FGL performed the song live at the 2018 CMT Music awards.
Live Performance of Simple
The duo will reveal more details about the album soon, but it follows their Platinum-certified 2016 album, Dig Your Roots. This album rang in three consecutive No. 1 hits, including “May We All” (ft. Tim McGraw), “God, Your Mama, And Me” (ft. Backstreet Boys), and the 4-time Platinum-certified “H.O.L.Y.”
They also gave fans an extra taste of the new project by dropping another single, “Colorado.” It’s all about getting over a breakup by heading into the mountains. Check it out here!
Florida Georgia Line has a busy schedule coming up, making many music festival appearances and kicking off the inaugural FGL Fest. They will also perform at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway during its 25th annual NASCAR weekend on September 8th.
