It’s no mystery how country music singer-songwriter Chris Janson, 38 (born April 2, 1986), feels about his wife, 49-year-old Kelly Lynn (born September 28, 1975). Chris Janson knew he wanted to marry Kelly as soon as he laid eyes on her. Three years after their first meeting, the pair tied the knot on July 4, 2010. After saying “I do,” Chris officially became the stepfather of Kelly’s children from Kelly’s previous marriage, Graham and Chel.
Besides being his wife and the mother of their two young children together, Georgia and Jesse, Kelly is a big part of his career. She encouraged Chris to release “Buy Me a Boat” independently and she’s also his manager! Before he had a hit on his hands, Kelly even took his promotional photos with a cell phone instead of hiring a professional photographer.
Kelly is truly the star’s muse, partner, and driving force!
“Done” Lyrics
Done
The first time I saw you, done
Like the first dance was through, I was done
That one kiss, I knew
There was nothing I wouldn’t do
Just to give you
That house on a hill with a four-plank around it
Every last breath till the last star is counted
Just say the word girl, paint me, you’re perfect
I won’t quit till the good Lord says my work is done
Like a faded out song on the radio, done
Like the cowboy gets the girl when the curtains roll
I’ll give you a lifetime of days in the sun
Whatever you need and you want, I won’t stop till it’s done
Done
All the hell I was raising, done
All the careless heartbreaking, done
For the chance that you’ll taken
I spend my nights praying
And all my days chasing
That house on a hill with a four-plank around it
Every last breath till the last star is counted
Just say the word girl, paint me, you’re perfect
I won’t quit till the good Lord says my work is done
Like a faded out song on the radio, done
Like the cowboy gets the girl when the curtains roll
I’ll give you a lifetime of days in the sun
Whatever you need and you want, I won’t stop till it’s done
You know I won’t stop till it’s done
You need a man you can lean on, done
You need some faith you can hang your dreams on
Check ’em off one by one
In that house on a hill with a four-plank around it
Every last breath till the last star is counted
Just say the word girl, paint me, you’re perfect
I won’t quit till the good Lord says my work is done
Like a faded out song on the radio, done
Like the cowboy gets the girl when the curtains roll
I’ll give you a lifetime of days in the sun
Whatever you need and you want, I won’t stop till it’s done
Baby, I won’t stop till it’s done
Oh, you know I ain’t done
First time I saw you, done
