Country music jokesters Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan are at it again…
In coordination with the release of Luke’s What Makes You Country album, the Georgia native asked his fans and other famous faces to share what makes them country. Well, Luke got what he asked for with a slew of heartfelt responses, but one really stands out— Blake Shelton’s hilarious answer.
The Oklahoma shared his take via a video posted to his Instagram account with the caption, “Guys i figured it out.. I know @lukebryan is trying to figure out what makes him country and had to put out an album to find the answer.. but I’ve got it! #WhatMakesYouCountry”
“Hey guys, It’s me and I just wanted to take a minute and tell you that my buddy, Luke Bryan, has a new album that just came out, it’s called What Makes You Country,” Blake stated in the clip. “And it got me thinkin’, if he’s saying that—what makes you country—I started thinking what makes Luke country. Really the only thing I could come up with is— he looks inbred.”
Oh, Blake. Needless to say, these two stars have a strong friendship and are always making fun of each other. We’ll have to wait and see how Luke pays his buddy back. Until then, we can just enjoy watching Luke and his wife Caroline randomly trying to feed an almond to a very chunky squirrel…
No worries, the squirrel got the nut and also scored an invitation to live at Brett’s Barn, the farm full of rescue animals the family recently established in memory of their late niece, Sadie Brett Boyer.
