Wednesday night was a huge career milestone for Gwen Stefani! The artist officially opened her Las Vegas residency, Gwen Stefani: Just a Girl, at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino’s Zappos Theater. As can be expected, boyfriend Blake Shelton was on the scene and surprised his lady love backstage with a beautiful flower arrangement and a heartfelt note that read: “You’ve worked so hard on the show. Congrats on opening night!!! I love you!!! Blake.”

Looks like Gwen had a wonderful night! In celebration of Shelton’s 42nd birthday on June 18th, the couple recently hunkered down at the country music star’s tropical-themed lakefront home in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. To mark the occasion, Gwen gave Blake an unusual birthday present— a large flagpole!
