Country music superstar Carrie Underwood has returned to NBC’s Sunday Night Football to belt out the theme song for the eighth consecutive year and star the new opening clip! The new video opener debuted on Sunday, September 13th. Watch “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night” make its way back for the 2020 Sunday Night Football season below!

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the video features a mix of content generated from football fans and cameos of some of the NFL’s biggest stars!
“We all want to make each year feel special and unique,” Underwood shared in a statement. “More than anything, everybody’s just grateful that we get to do this.”
“I think people need Sunday Night Football,” the country music singer-songwriter added. “We need that bit of normalcy, even if we’re going about it in a slightly different way.”
