Multi-Platinum country artist Thomas Rhett has earned his sixth consecutive #1 on the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase radio charts with “T-Shirt” from his sophomore album Tangled Up. To mark the occasion, the Georgia native quickly shipped his upbeat summer anthem “Vacation” to Country radio as his brand new single!
“I never would have imagined when I started on this journey that I’d have six #1’s in a row,” Thomas Rhett said in a statement. ‘”Vacation” is fast becoming one of my favorite songs to play live. Thomas Rhett will perform “T-Shirt” during the 2016 CMT Music Awards on Wednesday, June 8th at 7 PM CT on CMT— where he is also up for three awards. This Thursday, he will host the CMA Music Festival at Nissan Stadium where he is also slated to perform on Sunday for the annual televised special Country’s Night to Rock (8/3 at 7 PM CT on ABC).
