ACM ‘Female Vocalist of the Year ‘alum Sara Evans is poised to release one of her best albums yet through her own record label, Born To Fly Records.

Evans chose to include 14 amazing female songwriters on the upcoming album, titled Words, including Ashley Monroe, Caitlyn Smith, Hillary Lindsey, Hillary Scott, Liz Hengber, and Sonya Isaacs. The album is set to release on July 21, 2017.

“When I’m listening to a song, it’s the lyrics and the stories they tell that matter most to me,” said Evans in a press release.

“Not only is ‘Words’ the title to one of the songs on my album but in listening to new music for the record, I was always looking for lyrics that moved me and expressed a powerful range of emotions. Women are natural storytellers and I’m proud to have so many amazing female songwriters represented on this record.”

Evans has had five No. 1 country songs including “No Place That Far,” “Suds In The Bucket, “A Real Fine Place To Start,” “Born to Fly,” and “A Little Bit Stronger”. We are sure her next album, which will be her 8th studio project, will contain another round of chart-topping hits.

Because of Evans’ recent decision to start her own record label she will have complete control over the album Words from start to finish, which is very empowering for the multi-platinum winning artist. She even got to include her 14-year-old daughter Olivia on the album singing back-up vocals!

“I’ve always recorded music that I believed in and that I loved, but with Words I finally had 100 percent control over every decision,” Evans told PEOPLE.

“We went into the song search with the mindset of choosing the most amazing songs, no matter what.”

“We didn’t put a filter on our thinking of ‘Will this work at country radio with what’s being played now?’ or ‘What does my label team think of this song?’ Now I am the label and it has given me complete creative freedom.”
