With summertime coming to a close, football season is right around the corner! Even better for country music fans, this year’s NFL opener will include superstar Dierks Bentley who will serve as the featured act before the first exciting game of the season kicks off. The Denver Broncos will face the Carolina Panthers on their home turf.
Dierks took to Instagram to officially announce his role in the big event.
The Arizona native’s album Black was released earlier this year and features hit singles such as “Somewhere on a Beach,” which was his 11th No. 1 hit. We hope he does a mashup of “Drunk on a Plane” and “Somewhere on a Beach,” mostly because we want him to dress like a pilot again.
The opening event will occur on September 8th at 7:30 PM ET via NBC and the NFL Network. Football and Dierks?! This is an event we will be sure not to miss.
