Somebody is having a good week! Blake Shelton just notched another Top 10 single with “Every Time I Hear That Song." More here...

Country music star Blake Shelton can now celebrate another Top 10 single with “Every Time I Hear That Song.” The talented Oklahoman performed the single, which boasts over 17 million on-demand streams and continues to climb the charts, last week on The Voice with an impassioned performance.

Shelton is nominated for ‘Top Country Artist’ and ‘Top Country Album’ at the Billboard Music Awards, which airs on Sunday, May 21st via ABC. In June, the superstar is slated to hit the stage at the CMT Music Awards, where he was nominated for ‘Male Video of the Year.’

2017 is proving to be fruitful for Shelton, he has already snagged two wins at this year’s People’s Choice Awards for ‘Favorite Album’ and ‘Favorite Male Country Artist.’ His most recent album If I’m Honest became the best-selling country record released in 2016, and features his current single as well as No. 1 smash hits “A Guy With a Girl” and “Came Here To Forget.”

Aside from Blake’s booming career, as per usual, his relationship with fellow The Voice coach Gwen Stefani is making tabloid headlines. No, Gwen was not dumped by Blake Shelton as claimed by In Touch and no ‘live TV proposal’ was ever in the works. A few months back, the tabloid also claimed that Stefani was adopting a baby girl. Before that, the pair were expecting twins. The couple are very much still together and even spent Mother’s Day weekend together with her three sons.

Speaking of mothers, Blake recently told Parade about the influence his mother Dorothy had on his rise to stardom, “The best piece of advice my mom ever gave me is, ‘Don’t be afraid to follow your dreams.’” He also revealed his mother’s support of his lifelong dream to pursue a music career, “Since I was a kid, I always wanted to be a country singer. When I started singing in talent contests … she would drive me there and encourage me.”

Blake is certainly living his dream right now! Share this update with other country music fans.
