Country music star Zac Brown’s wife, Shelly, is the definition of a BOSS LADY— not only does she help the Zac Brown Band behind the scenes with costuming and wardrobe, she also runs her own successful jewelry business while raising five children!
Her interest in design started at a young age and the Georgia native graduated with a Fashion Design Degree from Atlanta’s Bauder College — she even apprenticed under a master jeweler to sharpen her jewelry design skills. In 2015, she took the plunge and launched her self-titled jewelry brand, Shelly Brown.
“We’ve been fortunate enough to travel and by doing so I can’t help but be wildly influenced by the open road and the world around me,” she shared about the brand via press release. “I was inspired to craft a collection of jewelry that spoke to these influences; something that reflects the duality of our lifestyle, pieces that you can wear with a t-shirt and jeans or with a cocktail dress, day-to-night, or work-to-play.”
She creates many of her designs while at home in Atlanta and makes each original piece by hand herself. Her line utilizes materials such as Swarovski crystals, leather, and various metals in its pieces. Country music starlets such as Little Big Town’s Kimberly Schapman, Maren Morris, RaeLynn, and Kacey Musgraves are fans of her work, which is also 100 percent American-made in Rhode Island.

Just when you thought Shelly couldn’t be any cooler— she also founded a children’s retreat called Camp Southern Ground with her famous husband. The camp’s mission is “to provide extraordinary experiences for children to recognize and magnify the unique gifts within themselves and others in order to profoundly impact the world.”
