Following a six year break, Hank Williams Jr. has returned to 'Monday Night Football' with a brand new opening video featuring Florida Georgia Line and Jason Derulo. Check it out here...

Hank Williams Jr. teamed up with Florida Georgia Line and pop-singer Jason Derulo to create an awesome new video for ESPN’s Monday Night Football. The video is called “All My Rowdy Friends Are Here on Monday Night” and is just over one minute long. When asked about the clip, Williams replied the theme song is, “a staple that fans grew to expect and wanted to see and hear. I am thrilled to be back and bring the fans such a now and dynamic rendition of this anthem. Are you ready for some football? ‘Cause I sure am!”

Of course Williams Jr. is no stranger to the Monday Night Football theme song, he won four Grammy Awards between 1991 and 1994 for his unique editions. Watch the new 2017-2018 video below!

Florida Georgia Line also shared some thoughts on the project, “we all grew up watching Monday Night Football, and it’s surreal to join Jason Derulo and Hank Williams Jr. on this new version that gives a nod back but also a step forward,” said Brian Kelly. FGL’s Tyler Hubbard added, “this is a huge honor to be a part of such a legendary song and night!”

Pop-artist Jason Derulo got in on the action saying, “It’s truly momentous to be featured in the Monday Night Football anthem for the upcoming season. I feel the opening song sets the tone and energizes the fans before kickoff, and this year I’m putting my swag on it.”

The video made it’s debut on Monday, prior to kickoff between the New Orleans Saints and the Minnesota Vikings. It was the first Monday Night Football game of the new NFL season.

As for Hank Williams Jr.’s relationship with the sports network, it was recently rebuilt after the two came to terms with their past disagreements. “Monday Night Football has the most famous music video in sports television. It’s time to bring it back,” said Stephanie Druley, the network’s senior vice president for events and studio production, in an interview with The Washington Post. We can’t wait to watch the epic video every Monday night this season!
