Carrie Underwood is a major New Kids in the Block fan and went crazy via social media after the group sang her special request during their concert at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, which she also attended.
The country music darling made a special song request to the band before they hit the stage, and they responded by announcing to the energetic crowd, “She said if you don’t play a certain song, I’m going to be very upset.” NKOTB then wowed the audience with an intimate rendition of “Single,” a duet with singer Ne-Yo from their 2008 The Block album.
The venue’s Jumbotron caught Underwood enthusiastically swaying along to the ballad. In true fan fashion, she then relayed the experience to fans via Facebook and Twitter.
