The Walker County Boy For Me video was filmed in 2011 and released in 2012. Walker Country was formerly “The Twilight” and changed the band name to WALKER COUNTY. This is an original song written and performed by WALKER COUNTY’S Ivy Dene (16 years old) and sister Sophie Dawn (13 years old at the time of the video filming).
Country Music duo Walker County band is comprised of two sisters that have grown up fostering their love of Country Music. The Walker sisters originally found their love of music with frequent trips to Nashville and visits to lower Broadway. The pair relocated to Nashville full time to fully pursue their musical destiny. Ivy demonstrates an outstanding range as lead vocals and her younger counterpart Sophie harmonizes beautifully and keeps the rhythm playing drums. Walker County can tout itself a full family affair as the duo’s father, Billy Walker, plays lead guitar for the band. Walker County extends their roots into traditional country, intertwining their soulfulness with southern rock flair. Ivy Dene (now 22 years old) and Sophie Dawn (now 19 years old) comprise the sister duo Walker County
