Country music icon Vince Gill has found another calling— becoming a Nashville Predators team store sales associate. In the adorable spoof video below, the 59-year-old musician explains his need for his new position and helps out shoppers.
“Things are getting a little tough around here. They’re not buying my records much anymore. And I wanted to be a Predator, but I was too old and fat, and I can’t skate,” Gill hilariously quipped.
If Gill wielding a clothing hook doesn’t make you smile, nothing will. Besides helping his hometown team move merchandise, the talented musician is truly a Predators superfan. He was on a committee that helped select a design for Bridgestone Arena before its opening in 1996 and is also a season ticket holder along with his wife, Amy Grant.
