Did you know that “A Guy Walks Into a Bar” singer Tyler Farr is also a classically trained opera singer? During his teen years, he even sang tenor in Missouri’s All-State Choir, but fell in love with country music after his mother married George Jones’ touring guitarist.

Back in January, Farr was forced to cancel his participation in Lee Brice‘s Life Off My Years Tour and undergo vocal cord surgery in order to remove polyps. After being placed on strict vocal rest, the Missouri native was able to return to rocking the stage in May. Obviously the talented singer got his incredible vocal range back and then some!
