Country music group Two Way Crossing’s breathtaking vocals, incomparable melodies, and catchy beats are sure to stick with you but it’s their well-rehearsed, high energy stage show that will make them unforgettable. The six-piece band featuring husband and wife duo Jenny (vocals, keys) and Blake Marvin (vocals), Kevin Smith (guitar), Jaron Mossman (drums), Jacob Garner (guitar), and Will Martin (bass), has come a long way since forming just three years ago. From their explosive performances to their tireless work ethic TWC is on the cusp of becoming the next big thing in the world of pop-country.
With these mesmerizing performances, Two Way Crossing has developed a devoted fan base across the country. So devoted, in fact, that they are largely responsible for the group’s latest EP Deja Vu through a successful Kickstarter campaign. The group has previously opened for LoCash, Blake Shelton, Sam Hunt, Eli Young Band, Jerrod Niemann, The Band Perry, Justin Moore, and Sara Evans among others.
TWC’s new summery single, “Gettin’ Sun”, debuted on Friday, April 14th and needs to be added to your personal warm weather playlist immediately. Take a listen to the official audio below!
Country Fancast recently caught up with the busy band to talk “Gettin’ Sun” and their plans for 2017.
1) Country Fancast: Can you share the story behind your new single, “Gettin’ Sun?”
Two Way Crossing: “We travel A LOT for shows and we like to always be working on the road so this particular trip we invited our friend, Ryan Sorestad out to write with us. We had a day or two off in Minnesota and we were all joking with each out about how great it would be for the sun to come back out and “get some sun”! (We were all wrapped in blankets, staring at the snow covered ground from the living room) We decided to crack open a Corona and then “Gettin” Sun” almost wrote itself. It was a memorable day for sure.”
2) CF: If you could create a playlist for country music fans to enjoy this summer, which tracks would make the cut?
TWC: “Ohh, we have a Band Playlist on the bus where everyone gets to add 2 of their favorite albums to the mix and we circle through those for a while til we make another one. BUT, if we were to put together a playlist of our current favorites I think we’d have some of these on there…

“You Look Good” – Lady Antebellum
“Blue Tacoma”- Russell Dickerson
“Party Like You” – The Cadillac Three
“Dirt of My Boots” – Jon Pardi
“Koozie”- Cort Carpenter
