Several top Country Music stars have collaborated with hip hop/rap artists to produce songs in the Country Rap genre also referred to as "hick hop".

Here are some of the top Country Rap songs produced by major Country Music artist joining forces with top Hip Hop artists:

Florida George Line collaborated with Rapper Nelly to release a Country Rap remix of their popular song “Cruise”

The Nelly remix of “Cruise” was produced by Jason Nevins and released to iTunes in 2013.  The remix was played at the end of Nelly‘s music video for “Hey Porsche, and it was included on the deluxe version of Florida Georgia Line’s album.

2)  Jason Aldean collaborated with Ludacris to produce a  “Dirt Road Anthem” remix

“Dirt Road Anthem” is a country rap song written by American artists Colt Ford and Brantley Gilbert. Jason Aldean covered the song for his 2010 album My Kinda Party. The song received a Nomination for the 54th Grammy Awards for Best Country Solo Performance and became a top seller. 3)  Tim McGraw collaborated with Nelly to produce “Over and Over”

Over and Over” is a song that was released on September 12, 2004 as the second single from Nelly’s fourth album Suit.   The song features country singer Tim McGraw and was written by Nelly, Jayson Bridges, James Hargrove and Tim McGraw.  This song peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and was highly successful as a Country Rap crossover collaboration.
