Timeless country star Tim McGraw recently released a new track entitled “Gravity” for National Geographic Documentary Films’ Free Solo. This song captures the story of Alex Honnold, a professional American rock climber, and his very personal story.
Tim was not alone on making this song amazing. “Gravity” was co-written with Lori McKenna and co-produced by Byron Gallimore who mixed the track as well. It takes a village to make amazing country music happen and this village did an excellent job working as a team!
Free Solo has had some incredible success in the box office as well! The first weekend the documentary premiered it had the highest per-screen average ever! The movie has since received many honors and deservingly so!

In the studio, Byron Gallimore and I wanted a track that sonically resonated with Marco Beltrami’s score and felt as big as El Capitan,” Tim shared via a statement.
