It is no secret that country music star Tim McGraw loves to sing his own version of other singers’ popular songs. While on his Soul2Soul Tour with his lovely wife, Faith Hill, the star went big and covered Merle Haggard’s “Mama Tried” alongside fellow country music standout Chris Janson. The “Buy Me A Boat” singer also attempted to channel his inner Merle Haggard in this wonderful cover. And if two country music singers weren’t enough, 61-year-old Mark Collie jumped in the performance and took a line of his own. After the song was over, McGraw yelled, “Thank God for country music!” I think we can all agree on that one.

Though the Soul2Soul Tour wrapped up last week, fans can experience it again thanks to Showtime Networks! The concert special, aptly titled Tim & Faith: Soul2Soul, will broadcast on Friday, November 17th at 9 p.m. ET/PT via SHOWTIME (on-air, on demand, and over the internet).
The special was shot over the summer in the United States during their current tour stint. The tour documentary includes live performances from their Soul2Soul tour, as well as unprecedented access to Tim and Faith, with never before seen interviews and behind the scenes footage capturing their unmatched chemistry on and off the stage.
