On September 21, 1967, Audrey Faith Perry (aka Faith Hill) was born in Ridgeland, Mississippi and was adopted by Edna and Ted Perry as an infant. The future country music superstar grew up honing her craft by performing and signing locally. At 19-years-old, she left college to pursue her dreams in Nashville and the rest is truly musical history!
In honor of Faith’s 51st birthday, husband and fellow country star Tim McGraw posted the following message:
“From the first time we met, I knew (she didn’t!) that she was the love of my life forever…. no matter the ups and downs, the happy and sad or the good and bad.
She’s so special and so loved by us.
Happy birthday my love.
When I wake up next to you in our 80’s… I’ll smile at the life we’ve built”
Goodness, isn’t that just romantic? As fans know, besides being country music superstars, Faith and Tim are also the proud parents of three daughters— Gracie (21), Maggie (20), and Audrey (16). The pair have certainly built a beautiful life together and we look forward to seeing what the future holds!
