About a year after having their son, Thompson Square is ready to get back out on the road! The duo took time off to care for Rigney Cooper Thompson, and now they get the chance to bring new ideas to fans. They have announced some upcoming tour dates for 2017 adding that Cooper has had a strong influence on their music and career.

Though they had to take a break from music, the couple is back on track with a new outlook on life. Cooper has changed the way they approach songwriting and even given some previous songs a new meaning. The song “If I Didn’t Have You” could now be about the son instead of spouse.
At any rate, Thompson Square will be performing briefly throughout April to August. Here are the upcoming 2017 dates and locations:
April 28th: Ringle, Wisconsin
April 29th: Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin
May 6th: Harrah, Oklahoma
May 27th: Dublin, Ohio
June 17th: Saginaw, Michigan
June 23rd: Fort Meyers, Florida
August 5th: Prarie Du Chien, Wisconsin
Though their time on the road may be short, Thompson Square will continue to make music. Between caring for their son and making music, the couple balances it all for their love of family and country music. Keifer and Shawna are excited to be new parents, and we are excited for them!
