Country music star Thomas Rhett released several mix versions of “Leave Right Now” via a new EP, Leave Right Now: The Remixes, which remixes the original song in a variety of ways. The four-track EP features the original track, a shortened radio edit, a remix from Danish DJ Martin Jensen, and a “Nashville Mix.” Check out The Jensen mix versus The Nashville mix versions below.
Leave Right Now: Martin Jensen Mix
Music video by Thomas Rhett performing Leave Right Now with a remix from Norwegian DJ Martin Jensen. The Jensen mix doubles down on the original’s electronic roots, adds pulsing synths and provides an R&B-inspired beat to the track’s verses. This mix also features an extended instrumental breakdown in the choruses.
Leave Right Now: Nashville Mix Version
The “Nashville Mix” is more in line with Rhett’s early work and will likely be preferred by country music fans. This version reinterprets the track as an acoustic guitar-driven ballad and provides more traditional country-rock instrumentation.
Rhett co-wrote the track with Edward Drewett, John Henry Ryan, and his co-producer, Julian Bunetta.
