Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins are already adoptive parent and are open to adopt again! More on the couple's plans right here!
Country music superstar Thomas Rhett and wife Lauren Akins melted our hearts when they welcomed their first daughter, Willa Gray, into the family back in May 2017. Lauren first met Willa when she was doing mission work with the 147 Million Orphans organization in Uganda. While going though the international adoption process, the couple discovered that they were expecting! Ada James was born in August 2017.
Thomas Rhett’s latest album, Life Changes, encompasses how crazy and beautiful life can be! Now, he’s saying there’s a possibility his family of four might grow again very soon.
While the couple are both only 28, they’re already thinking ahead. “Lauren wants to have five kids before she turns 34. That is her plan,” Thomas Rhett shared with Access Online. “So you can probably expect three new babies in the next five years. She’s the boss.”
When asked if they would ever consider adoption again Thomas Rhett replied with, “Yeah, absolutely. I don’t know when. We’ll probably just wait for God to put that in our path and figure that out in that way, but we would definitely love to adopt again.”
Both Lauren and Thomas are very active on social media and have shared many family moments with fans—- and we can’t get enough.
The Akins family is currently gearing up for the next leg of the Life Changes Tour, which kicks off on September 13th in Bangor, Maine, with special guests Brett Young and Midland.
