Country music artist Thomas Rhett's daughter Willa is adjusting well to her new surroundings. Check out what the toddler's been up to!
Over the weekend, country star Thomas Rhett‘s 18-month-old daughter Willa Gray Akins got to enjoy watching her father perform in front of adoring crowds and even made it onto the big stage! The little one has only been in the United States for under two weeks and she’s wasting no time jumping into the country music scene!

Rhett also shared a sweet snapshot of himself holding Willa Gray onstage and captioned the photo, “The coolest thing ever.” We agree, there’s nothing better than creating memories with your child.
The new family of three look to be adjusting quite well! Lauren first met Willa while in Uganda with the non-profit organization 147 Million Orphans. Soon after, the couple began the international adoption process in 2016 and after about a dozen trips to the African nation, they officially welcomed their baby home on May 11th.
“Lauren had this amazing glow about her, and it just felt like she was already our daughter in a weird way,” Rhett told The Boot about their decision to adopt after seeing a photo of Lauren and Willa together. “I just blurted out, ‘We should bring her home.’”
The trio will soon become a quartet— Lauren and Thomas are expecting a baby girl in August. Rhett currently in the middle of his 2017 Home Team Tour, so hopefully Willa will be making more special guest appearances!
Right now, the young couple are enjoying being a little family and relishing their new roles as first-time parents.
“It is very weird to be called ‘Dad’ by a little human being,” the country singer-songwriter told PEOPLE. “But it is one of the coolest feelings in the world. Nothing beats that.”
We couldn’t be more happy for these three! Share this with other fans of Thomas and Lauren.
