On Wednesday, country star Thomas Rhett and wife Lauren Akins revealed that they were expecting a baby in August and also in the process of adopting a child from Africa. Yesterday the couple hosted a gender reveal party for their numerous friends and family members, including Rhett Akins who stood close to his son. Luckily for us, Thomas and Lauren also shared their big surprise via social media.

No word yet on the age or gender of the child the couple is adopting from Africa— or even when that child will be officially joining the family. No matter what, those two kids are sure to have a blast with each other and their incredible parents.
