The Swon Brothers stormed onto the country music scene four years ago when they released their self-titled first album after appearing on The Voice. This week, the two brothers, Zach and Colton, dropped the accompanying music video for their track “What Ever Happened.” The visual features the Oklahoma natives strumming their acoustic guitars while emphatically belting out the lyrics. It’s evident through the singers’ emotions and the lyrics that The Swon Brothers wish they could reverse time back to when things were simpler. Surprisingly, the duo co-wrote the song in less than an hour. “It was a culmination of their discussion about the world and how much things have changed since they were kids. Longing for a simpler time, they thought others might feel the same and outpoured the lyrics and the melody in a song that defines the times we are living in,” the pair shared in a press release.
