Cole Swindell “Single Saturday Night” [Music Video & Lyrics]

Country music star Cole Swindell has released his “Single Saturday Night” music video directed by Michael Monaco and Eder Acevedo!

“I have loved this song since the first listen and wanted to create a video that was just as special!” shares Swindell. “We had to get really creative shooting because we were still in quarantine, and it ended being one of the most fun videos I’ve ever done. Because of having that extra time I was able to be really involved in the creative and editing process and this video is a snapshot of my quarantine of trying to tune out all of the bad news and dreaming of being back out on the road at live shows with my band and fans.”

The Georgia native released “Single Saturday Night” for his fans last month to give them new music after he had to pause his headlining Down To Earth Tour and come off the road amidst the current pandemic. The song, written by Ashley Gorley, Michael Hardy and Mark Holman, is the follow-up to his No. 1 single “Love You Too Late” and is the hit-maker’s 11th career single.

Swindell has rescheduled the remaining dates of his headlining Down To Earth Tour. The tour is scheduled to kick back off October 1 in his home state for a show in Macon, Georgia at the Macon Centreplex Auditorium. Joining Swindell on his Down To Earth Tour are special guests HARDY and Trea Landon, and Jon Langston now joins for the final three shows.

“Single Saturday Night” Lyrics

I was out takin’ shots
Throwin’ down at the spot
Three sheets, just me and the guys
Every single Saturday night
I was killin’ time, crushin’ cans
Tryin’ not to catch a tan
‘Cause I was under them neon lights
Every single Saturday night, yeah
Everybody knew they could find me there
Then right out of the blue, right out of nowhere
Out of nowhere
Sittin’ over in the corner, baby I saw
Pretty red lips workin’ on a white claw
Shakin’ to a little. shook me all night long
And I thought, “Man, what a beautiful sight”
Ain’t a mornin’ you don’t wake up in my shirt now
Even holdin’ hands walkin’ outta church now
Who’d have thought baby, lookin’ back
That that would be my last single Saturday night, yeah
My last single Saturday night
And now when I’m out havin’ a drink or two
If they see me, well they see you
‘Cause girl, I got you by my side
Every single Saturday night, yeah
Every now and then the boys tell me they miss me
Oh, but they all get it ’cause they were right there with me
Yeah, with me when
Sittin’ over in the corner, baby I saw
Pretty red lips workin’ on a white claw
Shakin’ to a little, shook me all night long
And I thought, “Man, what a beautiful sight”
Ain’t a mornin’ you don’t wake up in my shirt now
Even holdin’ hands walkin’ outta church now
Who’d have thought baby, lookin’ back
That that would be my last single Saturday night
The last time that I’d buy a drink for a girl
I’d never met before
I wasn’t lookin’ for love when I walked through the door
But damn, if I didn’t find what I wasn’t even lookin’ for
Sittin’ over in the corner, baby I saw
Pretty red lips workin’ on a white claw
Shakin’ to a little, shook me all night long
And I thought, “Damn, what a beautiful sight”
Ain’t a mornin’ you don’t wake up in my shirt now
Look at us even picking out a church now
Who’d have thought baby, lookin’ back
That that would be my last single Saturday night, yeah
My last single Saturday night
