Country music star Scotty McCreery got his truck broken into and he apologized to the thieves on social media. Details here!

Country songster Scotty McCreery got his truck broken into recently in Nashville. After finding the mess inside his truck, as well as nothing missing, Scotty made an apologetic announcement on Twitter to his wanna-be thieves.

“Just want to apologize to whoever did this … You really picked the wrong country singer’s truck to break into,” Scotty writes. “Got nothing for ya … That is, unless you’re a big fan of Elvis or the O Brother Where Art Thou soundtrack.” The “Five More Minutes” singer attached the message with a picture of the driver’s side of his rummaged-through truck. Hysterical.

Aside from this incident, McCreery is on a personal upswing. Getting hitched to his (now) wife, Gabi Dugal, releasing his No. 1 album, Seasons Change, along with successfully touring on his Seasons Change Tour, 2018 will be a hard year to beat.

In an interview with People, Scotty admitted he was ready to get back in to writing and in the studio. “We still have some songs on this record that I think are potential singles,” he says. “I always like to be in the creative mindset, and writing is probably my favorite thing to do, so I’m really excited about getting back at it in January.”

Fans can look forward to a splurge of upcoming tour dates as well as some new music (hopefully) in the near future!
