Country music singer-songwriter Ryan Hurd's "To a T" is a sexy play on words put to music. Check out the artist's latest here!

Country music artist Ryan Hurd has written songs that have been recorded by country music hit-makers such as Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum, Maren Morris, and Tim McGraw.

The Michigan native continues to garner praise for his unique style and youthful adventurous take on life, always writing about what he’s currently experiencing. In March 2018, Hurd surprised his fans by releasing an unannounced song, “Diamonds Or Twine,” the day before his wedding with country music star Maren Morris. The emotional song hit No. 1 on Sirius XM’s The Highway Hot Country Countdown, thus beginning a new era of creativity for Hurd.

Now, the singer-songwriter has recently unveiled his follow-up song to “Diamonds Or Twine” with the release of “To a T.” The new track is a taste of what’s to come from Hurd’s upcoming debut album via RCA Records Nashville.

“I wrote “To a T” with Laura Veltz and Nathan Spicer. Laura has been one of our closest friends and collaborators over the last few years, and it was her idea that she brought almost as a challenge to us because she knew it was a tricky idea. It took a couple of sessions but it was really fun to figure out how to fit the idea and the wordplay together. The concept is pretty universal, wanting to know every part of somebody, but I think the way that it is expressed in this song is unique,” Ryan Hurd shares exclusively with Country Fancast.

“To a T” Lyrics

Take off your makeup, nobody’s around
It’s you and me, girl, just let your guard down
I see right through you, I know what it means
I know I got you, the moment when you close your eyes-ey-ey
I know I’m doing something right-ight-ight

I got you down to a t-shirt
White sheets, red wine
Baby you don’t wanna leave
You want a record with some reverb, backbeat and low light
You know, I know what you need tonight
Girl I’ll take my time-ime, dot every, I, I, baby I, I
I got you down to a t

Mmm

Stay here ’til sunrise, I wanna know you
Like it’s the last time I’ll ever hold you
Girl, every detail leave it up to me
Lay back and let go
You don’t even have to say-ay-ay anything
About the way-ay-ay

You should see how you look in that t-shirt
White sheets and red wine
Baby you don’t wanna leave
You want a record with some reverb, backbeat and low light
You know, I know what you need tonight
Girl I’ll take my time-ime, dot every I, I, baby I, I
I got you down to a t

Whoa, yeah, yeah

Got you down, got you down
Got you down, got you down
Don’t worry baby
Cause driving you crazy is all I ever wanted

Now that I have you down to a t-shirt
White sheets and red wine
Mmmm
You want a record with some reverb, backbeat and low light
You know, I know what you need tonight
Girl I’ll take my time-ime, dot every I, I, baby I, I
I got you down to a t

Whoa
I got you down to a t
Got you down, got you down
Got you down, got you down
I got you down to a t
